Liberate your photos from your phone with HP’s new Sprocket Photo Printer

HP’s newest printer puts photo printing literally in your pocket. The HP Sprocket comes with a free companion mobile app (available for iOS and Android) that lets you add stickers, filters, borders, and captions to your photos before you print them, thus bringing them to the real world from what HP calls “the prison of your phone”.

Photos can be drawn from your camera roll in your phone, your Instagram photos, Facebook photo albums, or even your Google account, so there certainly will be plenty to choose from. Don’t want to print it out after all? Save the edited photos or just share them on social media with just a tap.

With the HP Sprocket, all the photos in your phone can literally be brought to life.

The HP Sprocket takes up to 10 pieces of HP ZINK paper (2×3-inch) at each time. HP ZINK paper is smudge-proof, water-resistant, and tear resistant. The paper also comes with a peel-and-stick backing which means every print is also a fun sticker that you can use to personalize your bags, phones or tablets. Let your creativity run free!

The HP Sprocket is available from all authorized resellers (like Lazada and Tangs) now for S$199 in a choice of Black or White. The HP Zink photo paper goes for S$15.90 for a 20-sheet pack at the HP webstore.

HP’s local influencers Benjamin Kheng and Narelle Kheng have also specially written a song for the Sprocket titled “Live Forever” which you can view below.
